Updated to eCommerce

PajamaPress

This children's book publisher is an award-winning company that prides itself on its library of carefully selected works. They have been around for a long time but hadn't begun selling their books on their own platform. I designed a completely new WordPress ecommerce experience for them and their customers.

Creating mid-fi wireframes

I like to show clients wireframes and build approvals early on. Traditional wireframes are hard to visualize and often get responses from clients like "I don't really understand what I am looking at", while high-fi wireframes lead to too many discussions about colour. My approach is somewhere in between with what I call "Mid-Fi" wireframes. Here are a couple of examples that helped myself and the developer better explain our plan to the client.

A good Sitemap

Before wireframing, a sitemap opens the discussion with the developer and defines the line of what is possible with the platform we are using.
